Lake Elizabeth near Forrest in the Otway’s is a special place which brings all visitors back to the peace and wildlife found in nature and the bush. The short walk into the lake with the sun filtering through the trees across small streams captured my attention before I had even reached the idyllic lake itself.

Living in Geelong much of my work is strongly influenced by the raw beauty found across the stunning Surf Coast and Otway region. This region provides the perfect backdrop for me to bring to the viewer a sense of the tranquillity, wildness and ever-changing beauty found within the landscapes that surround us. I predominantly work in oils on large canvases which help create and bring to the viewer a sense of the open space that we all enjoy.
