Life has many shifts and changes, just as wild and uncomfortable as the frosty sideways rain and gale force south westerlies. The beliefs we hold on to get thrown about, the old patterns and wounds resurface, all up in the air yet again, to be let go or rearranged to make space for the next cycle of growth. Just as the wild winds carry the seeds of new life, turbulent times bring renewal and change.

I am a painter who is profoundly awed by this human experience. I paint to capture the wonder and magic hidden within our everyday existence. As humans we feel deeply, the pain, the sadness, the love, the joy, the boredom, the curiosity, the craving, the confusion. Yet we are able to experience the divine.
Each one of us is home to a myriad of emotions. Each with stories well written on our faces. Each with an ethereal essence sparkling from within. Oil paint brings to life the soul and spirit of what we only sense and feel. We recognise this light within each other, a shared humanity, a collective connection, like glancing upon a reflection.
