Banksia Tree Sculpture

This sculpture is a private commissioned piece, custom designed to sit in the corner of a large art filled dining room space.

The Banksia flowers are designed and created using a steel and copper stylised pattern inspired by the Banksia tree these clients built their coastal home around.

My “native spoon-tail” birds are modelled off the wrens and smaller birdlife I am fortunate to meet on our bush walks and in our backyard. These two represent the two home owners and the number of banksias, their children and beloved dog
