‘Emerging’  This sculpture continues the theme of life cycles, growth, and transformation. Organic in form and earthy in colour, it evokes the image of a protective vessel or chrysalis—a nurturing container for hatching, growth, and eventual emergence. Copper wire contrasts with the earthy encaustic canvas material as it binds and supports the form, reinforcing themes of connection, strength, and transformation. Symbolising transition and renewal, the work speaks to the potential held within moments of becoming, embodying a sense of possibility, hope, and quiet evolution.
